‘I Want to Break Free’, ‘Under Pressure’, ‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love’, ‘These are the Days of Our Lives’, ‘Fat Bottomed Girls’, ‘Who Wants to Live Forever’ and ‘Another One Bites the Dust’ are some of the hit Queen songs that feature in the tribute musical We Will Rock You. The musical opened at the dominion Theatre in May 2002 and continues to run at the West End Theatre today.

The jukebox musical was written by Ben Elton. Ben Elton is a best selling comedy author whose work includes the book Inconceivable which he later transferred to the hit film Maybe Baby and television work which includes script writing for The Young Ones and Blackadder. His success and influence on modern culture continues with We Will Rock You. Original band members Brian May and Roger Taylor also collaborated with Ben Elton on the musical. Band members have also been known to make appearances at various performances of the musical which further adds to the sensation.

We Will Rock You has been performed internationally including in the United States, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong and South Africa. However, the performance on the West End continues to be the most successful performance of the show so We Will Rock You tickets will need to be booked in advance.
